bluebells are back.

i'm sort of excited that these are coming back in style.

for a short girl like me? these are just what i need.

elongate those legs, momma.

now, i just need to keep my exercise plan going (aka breastfeeding)........and then i can squeeze in a pair ;)

wanna spend way too much money on a pair for yourself?

moms don't really wear heels, or do they?

and............cue your confused looks. because those heels above don't really have anything to do with this post. i'm just weird. and also, i just really want those shoes on my feet, and now. and i would also like to be wearing them with a dress. and also i'd like to be holding hands with mr leif. and also, a glass of red wine would be a nice accessory. and also? we should be out on a date, with not a care in the world.

oh crappers. it's happening......
that time of year where SPRING! and SUMMER! are happening all around us...... yet as i look outside i see dark, gloom, and rain, boo? yes, boo.

however, the look of spring and summer seems to be pouring out of every magazine, every store window, and literally jumping right off the page and into my lap from the anthro mag.
and, i can't help but get the itch.
the one that makes me want to somehow gain a million dollars, and then get rid of my whole closet, and stock it new.

most of the time. like really about 85% of the time i delight in putting together random outfits, using articles of clothing from wayyyyy back, even from high school (yep, i still rock a pair of pants that i sported in my senior pictures) and i'm a sucker for anything thrifted.
but.
i still get the itch.
and, well, could anthro just please lower their prices?
just for like, oh, a day?

they should have a "if you're a mom and can't typically afford our swag, come on in on this one special day.....and it's ok if you need to bring your kids along, heck you can even nurse in our dressing room" sale.
yep, that would be a good sale.
AND...........if they had that one day sale, i'd buy these two things.

for my sweet friend's bridal shower in march.

while searching for tiny toms for my baby romes, i found the CUTEST little grey ones

tiny toms for babyroman.

that would totally match my mommy grey ones,

if only mr leif would allow me to spend the mula on shoes for romedog. hmmmm......

anyways....maybe this will help, if he sees what happens, when i purchase a pair of matching toms for little romes, look who else gets a pair...........

doesn't that just make you wanna drop everything here, and go to a third world country and bring them stuff?

this is really all that's missing from my issue(s) with cooking:

i mean, come on.....

can you imagine the pies and coblers and cakes and cookies i would bake up in here?

i'm not so sure which main courses i would perfect, but you and i both know, it could take more than a new kitchen to help with that disaster :)

here are 3 things...

.....that are making me dislike 'budget mania at the leif's':

1.

a ppb bag.

now, my first inclination was to be a tad ashamed to want such an expensive bag.

BUT, i've since justified it, no worries :)

i mean, come on. most of you know it was a bit difficult accepting that i wouldn't be buying leggings, headbands, nailpolish, dresses, and other sweet girl gettup for future babyleif.

though.........i've come a long way, and am now quite pumped to dress my little bambino. and i laugh at the thought of wanting a girl, when i'm now in total boy mode. and wouldn't want it any other way :)

however, i've justified this bag, because its the one girly baby-related thing i can do/have while raising a boy.

at least in my opinion.

so. a cute diaper bag is a must.

just dont know which one.

thanks molly for turning me to these sweet kicks with your fbook photo.

clearly i was WAY out of the loop.

i haven't been to a 'regular store' in at least 8 months, probably more like 10, i think the last time i went shopping was before christmas. just maternity for this girl.

and although i'd heard about TOMs on an ad, i didn't realize they were actually the

'cool shoe to buy'

and props to them - they give a pair of shoes to a needy child, every time you purchase one for yourself

and double props. they are comfy. or so im told.

so i think i 'need' a pair of these.

just don't know which color.

totally doesn't hold up to the above two items, in terms of priority on the buy list.

but i stumbled upon this sight (click the photo or source below) with oodles of fabulous fabric.

and sudenly,

i dreamed of carrying around my camera (that i don't know how to use) with one of these savy straps.

mr leif, now that you have admitted to actually reading this blog daily.

(yep folks, he finally jumped on the bandwagon)

and now that you've veiwed these 3 items.

please know that the bag and shoes are needs.

the cam strap is a want.

and if you see a fairly large purchase coming through in the next couple weeks.

its because i couldn't resist.

and i busted through our budget brick wall on spending.

but.

i promise i'll try not to.

i'll just stick to dreaming, for real.
