i suppose i'm in mourning...

...because im sitting on my couch,

devouring a piece of this cake: hold up.

yeah, i know, its a pretty sweet cake.

and i'll get to that in a different post.

but the fact is, im eating it. for comfort.

now why am i in mourning?

when i woke up this morning, i looked over at my nightstand and saw this:

its from charlotte.

and its on my nightstand because YESTERDAY morning,

she was in bed with me. playing. and cuddling. and wrestling.

and nawing on that bunny's ears.

and now she's gone. boo.

then i wondered into the living room and saw this:more of her stuff.

and then in the kitchen.........her left over juice.

and then in their bedroom, this:and im not pickin any of it up.

i'm still pretending they are here.

ugh. boo. hoo. ahhhhhhh.

i suppose our time apart makes our time together-better..........

and i suppose its just a season and someday we'll live close...........

but for now, im poutting.

and i might go get another piece of cake.

for a whole week,
i'll be smooching her. i'm lovin up being back in nebraska. and i'm here for 3 more days. yay :)

today my lil sissy painted bumble bees on my bright red toenails. i think my feet look cute now......even though one time in highschool, in mr hanger's class, a girl in my class told me i had the most ugliest feet ever. come on.......who does that? make fun of someone's feet? i guess at least she wasn't making fun of my nose...... i mean, at least i can cover my feet. but really....... i don't even think my feet are ugly. especially with bumble bees on my toes.

i know mr. leif will be excited to see them. buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :)

because my sissy is so busy...

i love her little church outfit. i can brag about by neice right?!?!? i mean, that's what being an aunt is all about, right?!?!?!

i had a 5th grade girl come in today and she said....

"ok, so i need some tips, i like this guy and i want to make a good impression, but i told someone else i liked him and they blabbed it all over 5th grade, and now my love life is ruined."

hehehehe, oh the drama of 5th grade love :) she then later said.....

"and do you have any tips for eye shadow? like what colors would go good with me? i tried to put yellow and red on for the KC Chiefs but it didn't look good...."

so i kindly gave her some more subtle eye shaddow ideas.... and thanks to years and years of advice from this girl, i would have probably sported the Chief's colors on my eyelids too! thanks sis :)

my cell phone...

is the only form of photography that i own. boo.
so........via my cell phone cam cam i captured quite the miracle last week.
of course, those lovely cell phone picture files fill up rather quickly, so i wasn't able to take the 5,348,498 photos i wanted to take. but i will gladly post the few that i did :)
because.
this, my friends, is the little birdie that just joined our family.

and her shoe collection is glamorous.

and because my sissy did so amazing with the nursery, i wanted to put up just one little sniblit from the most adorable room i have ever entered.

i actually want an exact replica for my own house, baby or not, i want that nursery.

and. by the way my sis and mr. sand made that painting.
